From co-writing local hit song "Better Seahawks Anthem" and receiving national media coverage on ESPN 1, Fox Sports and ABC's "Great Christmas Light Fights" to winning the 2017 Stellars Best competition in Las Vegas Dauntee VellVett, born LaVell Walton, for the past 6 years has utilized his own talents and abilities to educate BIPOC students in Washington state. After winning Stellars Best, Dauntee VellVett launches youth & arts company D4NT LLC to promote cultural & individual strength and expression developing leaders between ages 11-18.
VellVett’s list of accomplishments add weight to his value in the community as both artist, educator and entrepreneur has given him stage with Kirk Franklin, Lecrae, Kim Burrell, Seattle Symphony and the Seattle Seahawks. He’s also worked with Hip Hop 2 Prevention, WalkAway City, Neighborhood House, Kingmakers of Oakland, along with private and public schools in the state of Washington.

A lifelong learner with an undying passion for discovering truth through history, Akbar Brooks has served the Greater Seattle community through education and empowerment for nearly two decades. During his time with Seattle Public Schools, Akbar was one of the founding members that helped to establish and launch My Brothers Keeper(Afterschool Mentoring Program for young men of African descent). Throughout his time empowering students with unique learning styles through instruction, case management, and curriculum development, Akbar has found that by making learning relevant and impactful, the greatness of each student can be organically embraced. Along with his daily drive to help students overcome academic learning barriers as a Diverse Learning Specialist(Summit Sierra), Akbar has a passion to help students of African descent to embrace their heritage within the dynamics of our diverse community. A self-identifying family man, Akbar Brooks continues to gain inspiration from his loving wife and 5 amazing children. "Greatness Embraced is Purpose Fulfilled!"
